Use the CIA fact book to compare different aspects of European countries. [population and size] Use colors to create a Europe population map.

Use some of the links below to visit some of the locations from the region. Use the postcard template to have the students draw a picture of a preferred location and write about it on the back of the postcard. Postcard link.
3.
Learn about different monsters from around Europe (I'm a Monster below). Watch some of the videos below and use a map of Europe to map where these creatures are located.
4.
Learn about 4 different artists from Europe (see links below). Use the following page to take notes (include the artist's name, a couple facts, and a sketch of one of his/her works of art.
5.
Learn a little German, French, Russian, Portuguese , or Italian( see links below). Make a crossword puzzle as a class using the foreign language as the clues and English as the answer. Print out and solve.
6.
Make comic about one of the folktales listed below in the Misc. section.
7.
Don't forget to read one of the books we have for the continent: The Tomten, St. George and the Dragon, Gabriella's Song, or Anatole. Resources are included below.
